Electrolytic Tough Pitch Copper ETP-C11000 is a high-quality copper material produced from high-purity cathode copper through a continuous casting and rolling process. With a copper content of ≥99.90%, it offers excellent electrical conductivity, ductility, and corrosion resistance, making it a core material in fields such as power electronics and communication equipment.
Composition
C11000 is designated under the UNS numbering system, corresponding to the Chinese grade TU1 (Special Grade Oxygen-Free Copper). Its defining characteristics are extremely high copper content and exceptionally low oxygen content.
Primary Composition:
Copper (Cu): ≥99.99%
Oxygen (O): ≤0.0005% (i.e., 5 ppm, a key distinction from ordinary pure copper T2)
Trace Impurities (Strictly Controlled):
The total and individual contents of impurity elements such as phosphorus (P), iron (Fe), lead (Pb), antimony (Sb), bismuth (Bi), sulfur (S), and arsenic (As) are tightly restricted.
For example, common impurities like phosphorus (P) are maintained at extremely low levels (typically <0.0003%), as phosphorus significantly reduces conductivity.

Conductivity can exceed 101% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard), making it a benchmark material for industrial electrical conductivity and one of the most conductive copper alloys.

It exhibits superior cold and hot working performance, allowing it to be easily drawn into extremely fine wires or rolled into thin strips or foils.
Deep drawing, bending, and other forming capabilities are exceptional.
"Hydrogen Embrittlement-Free" Characteristic (One of the Most Important Features):
This is the core property that distinguishes it from ordinary oxygen-containing copper (T2). When heated in a reducing atmosphere (e.g., hydrogen-containing), oxygen in ordinary oxygenated copper reacts with hydrogen to form water vapor, creating high-pressure bubbles at grain boundaries and causing material embrittlement and cracking, known as "hydrogen disease."
