C10100 Copper Tube

C10100 copper tube is also known as purple copper tube. A type of non-ferrous metal tube, it is a pressed and drawn seamless tube. Copper tube has good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity characteristics, electronic products, electrical accessories and heat dissipation accessories of the main material, and become the first choice of modern contractors in all residential commercial housing water piping, heating, cooling piping installation. Copper pipe corrosion resistance, not easy to oxidation, and some liquid substances are not easy to chemical reaction, easy to Wei bend shape.

 

C10100 is primarily composed of copper (Cu), with exceptionally high purity:

Copper content: ≥99.99%, with some standards requiring ≥99.95%.

Oxygen content: ≤0.0005% (5 ppm), with some specifications allowing ≤0.001% (10 ppm), far lower than that of ordinary copper materials.

Other impurities: The total content of trace elements such as calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), zinc (Zn), and lead (Pb) is <0.001%, ensuring high material purity.

 

Electrical Conductivity:

Conductivity: ≥100% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard), with some annealed states reaching 102% IACS, approaching the theoretical limit of pure copper.

Resistivity: Extremely low, measuring only 0.00000168 Ω·mm²/m at 20°C, reducing energy loss and improving current transmission efficiency.

Thermal Conductivity:

Thermal conductivity coefficient: 398 W/(m·K), suitable for high-efficiency heat conduction devices such as heat sinks and heat exchangers.

Mechanical Properties:

Tensile strength: 210–240 MPa in soft state, with an elongation rate of ≥45%. At low temperatures (4K), the elongation rate remains at 35%, and the fatigue limit is 120 MPa (10⁷ cycles).

Processability: Excellent forgeability, with superior cold and hot working performance. It can be drawn into ultra-fine wires as thin as 0.003 mm, with a deep drawing limit ratio (LDR) of up to 2.3.

Vacuum Performance:

Vacuum outgassing rate: <1×10⁻¹¹ Torr·L/(s·cm²). It does not outgas even in extreme vacuum environments of 10⁻⁸ Pa, meeting stringent requirements such as particle accelerator cavity resonators.

Ultra-High Purity:
Copper purity ≥99.99%, oxygen content ≤5 ppm, and total impurities <0.001%, eliminating hydrogen embrittlement risk and preventing brittleness even when heated in reducing atmospheres.

Ultra-Low Loss:
Conductivity approaches the theoretical limit of pure copper, with extremely low resistivity, reducing energy loss and improving current transmission efficiency.

Stable Processability:
Excellent cold and hot working performance, capable of producing ultra-fine wires, deep drawing, and electrolytic polishing (surface roughness <1 nm), meeting precision manufacturing requirements.
