C22000 is a type of copper alloy known as commercial bronze. The process characteristics for manufacturing C22000 copper tubes are as follows:
Extrusion: The next step is extrusion, where the copper billets are heated and forced through a shaped die to form the initial tube shape. This process helps in achieving the desired dimensions and consistency of the copper tube.
Cold Working: After extrusion, the copper tube undergoes cold working processes such as drawing and cold rolling. These processes further refine the dimensions, improve the surface finish, and enhance the mechanical properties of the tube.
Annealing: Cold working can introduce strain and make the copper tube harder. To restore the ductility and reduce residual stress, the tube is subjected to an annealing process. Annealing involves heating the tube to a specific temperature and then slowly cooling it, allowing the copper to relax and regain its ductility.
