C11000 Electrolytic Soft Copper Tubing is known for its high electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance and solderability. Copper alloy C11000 piping has excellent resistance to weathering and corrosion and good resistance to many chemicals. Copper C11000 tubing is often specialized for corrosion resistance. Copper C11000 tubing is suitable for use in most waters such as drinking water, many industrial and mine waters, seawater and brackish water, and can be used underground because of its resistance to soil corrosion.
Our copper alloy C11000 pipe is also resistant to non-oxidizing minerals such as hydrochloric and sulfuric acids; organic acids such as acetic (including acetates and vinegars), carbolic, citric, formic, oxalic, tartaric and fatty acids; and acidic solutions containing sulfur. These C11000 copper tubes are immune to SCC in ammonia and similar agents that cause seasonal cracking of brass and other copper alloys.
