1.Low melting point. The melting point of pure copper is 1084.5 ℃, and when 25% tin is added, the melting point can be reduced to 810 ℃.
2.High hardness. The hardness of pure copper is 35 degrees (Bollinger hardness tester). Adding 5-7% tin can increase it to 50-60 degrees, and adding 9-11% tin can increase it to 70-80 degrees. This not only overcomes the soft defects of pure copper, but also allows for the selection of alloy proportions according to different needs and the casting of objects with different hardness.
3.Easy to cast. The lead in bronze alloy is in a free state in copper, which greatly improves the fluidity of liquid bronze alloy and has good filling ability. When casting, it can fill the entire mold and cast fine patterns.
