Production Process Steps
The steps of the production process of seamless titanium tubes include the following:
1. Material selection. According to the use requirements, choose the appropriate titanium alloy material, including the quality requirements of titanium tube, size requirements, etc.
2. Cutting. Cut the raw material such as titanium plate or titanium rod to the specified size to make the pipe billet.
3. Heat treatment. Heat the titanium tube billet to eliminate the internal stress and improve the strength and toughness of the titanium tube.
4. Air pushing and pressing. After heating the titanium pipe billet to a certain temperature, it is formed by air pushing and pressing to make the titanium pipe with smooth inner wall and precise shape to meet the requirements.
5. Slow cooling. The formed titanium tube is slowly cooled to stabilize the organization and improve the mechanical properties of the titanium tube.
6. Mechanical processing. The titanium tube after slow cooling treatment is subjected to processing procedures such as head making, punching, cutting and polishing to make it a finished tube.
7. Inspection. All finished tubes are inspected and tested to ensure that their dimensions, appearance, mechanical properties, etc. meet the requirements, as well as quality control measures such as mapping inspections.
8. Packaging. Finished titanium tubes are sorted and packed according to the specified quantity and specifications to prevent damage and contamination, and then stored and shipped out of the warehouse.
