Application of copper sleeve on double point press

The double-point press is a press machine that uses two connecting rods to drive the slide. Copper bushings and copper bearings are mainly used on the crankshaft on the double-point press. Copper bearings are installed on the fixed brackets of the crankshaft and the cylinder body to play the role of bearing and lubrication. Crankshaft bearings (copper bushings) are generally divided into two types: bearings and flanged bearings. Flanged bearings can not only support and lubricate the crankshaft, but also play the role of axial positioning of the crankshaft.
The copper sleeve used on the crankshaft of the double-point press has the functions of reducing wear, rotating and sliding. The copper sleeve isolates the direct contact between the crankshaft and the connecting rod, which is helpful for daily maintenance, repair and replacement, and has high economy.
Combined with the working environment and working process of the press, the copper sleeve of the double-point press is generally made of tin bronze. Tin bronze has higher mechanical properties, better corrosion resistance, friction reduction and good casting performance; it is less sensitive to overheating and gas, has good welding performance, is non-ferromagnetic, and has a small shrinkage coefficient. Tin bronze has higher corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, seawater, fresh water and steam than brass.
In the national standard GB/T1176-2013, the cast tin bronzes include 3-8-6-1 cast tin bronze, 3-11-4 cast tin bronze, 5-5-5 cast tin bronze, 10-1 cast tin bronze, 10-5 cast tin bronze, 10-2 cast tin bronze, etc. Different grades of tin bronze sleeves have different properties. When using them, you should choose which grade of tin bronze to use according to the actual situation. If you need technical support for design selection, please contact us.
