C10200 oxygen-free copper is a key copper material classification under ASTM standards. Like C10100, it belongs to the same family of high-purity oxygen-free copper grades, but with specific composition standards and performance characteristics. As a representative of high-purity copper for electrical applications, C10200 plays a key role in the era of electrification.

Production Process: Typically produced using continuous casting and rolling, which is more cost-effective than the vacuum melting process used for C10100

Key Processing Techniques
Cold Working: Annealed hardness HV50-65, reaching HV100-120 after cold rolling. Processing rate must be controlled at ≤85%.
Heat Treatment: Recrystallization annealing temperature 450-650°C, oxygen content in protective atmosphere <10 ppm.
Joining Process: Diffusion welding (temperature 500-800°C, pressure 10-50 MPa) or electron beam welding is recommended.
Surface Treatment: Chemical polishing (phosphoric acid + hydrogen peroxide system) or nickel/silver electroplating are available.
