Red copper is pure copper: Pure copper is purple-red, also known as red copper. The density of pure copper is 8.96, and the melting point is 1083℃.
The mass of the red copper tube is calculated as follows: G=8.96πδ(D-δ)/1000
G: mass kg δ: tube wall thickness mm D: tube diameter mm
The grades of copper suitable for making red copper tubes are T1 and T2.

Environmental advantages

Compared with ordinary plastic pipes, copper pipes contain chemical additives such as plasticizers in the main materials of plastic pipes, which are easy to cause leakage or hardening and embrittlement of plastics with time and temperature changes. Copper pipes do not have various chemical components such as modifiers, additives, and additives of plastic pipes, and their properties are very stable. Moreover, the E. coli in the water supply can no longer continue to reproduce in the copper pipe, and more than 99% of the bacteria in the water are completely killed after entering the copper pipe for 5 hours. Moreover, the copper pipe has an extremely dense structure and is impermeable. No matter whether it is grease, bacteria, viruses, oxygen, ultraviolet rays and other harmful substances, they cannot pass through it and pollute the water quality. In addition, the copper pipe does not contain chemical additives and will not burn to release toxic gases that suffocate people. Moreover, the recycling of copper is conducive to environmental protection and is a sustainable green building material.
Practicality

The connection firmness of the copper pipe is very strong, making it more practical. Because there are many kinds of pipes on the market, the interface accessories are mainly copper pipes. Even if some parts of the pipes can not use copper accessories, it still needs a copper accessory at the interface with the faucet. However, if the copper pipe accessories are connected to other pipes, due to the different materials of the pipes and accessories, the physical and mechanical properties of thermal expansion and contraction are very different, and the firmness of the connection will naturally be subject to additional challenges. Therefore, the connection of copper pipes and copper accessories will be greatly enhanced.
Applications

The application of copper tubes is much more extensive than that of pure iron. Every year, 50% of copper is electrolytically purified into pure copper for use in the electrical industry. The copper mentioned here must be very pure, with a copper content of more than 99.95%. A very small amount of impurities, especially phosphorus, arsenic, aluminum, etc., will greatly reduce the conductivity of copper. The oxygen content in copper (a small amount of oxygen is easily mixed in during copper smelting) has a great influence on the conductivity. Copper used in the electrical industry must generally be oxygen-free copper. In addition, impurities such as lead, antimony, and bismuth will prevent the crystals of copper from combining together, causing hot brittleness, and will also affect the processing of pure copper. This kind of pure copper with high purity is generally refined by electrolysis: impure copper (i.e. crude copper) is used as the anode, pure copper is used as the cathode, and copper sulfate solution is used as the electrolyte. When the current passes through, the impure copper on the anode gradually melts, and the pure copper gradually precipitates on the cathode. The copper refined in this way; the purity can reach 99.99%. Red copper is a relatively pure type of copper and can generally be considered as pure copper. It has good conductivity and plasticity, but its strength and hardness are relatively poor.
