What are the beneficiation methods for copper-nickel sulfide ore?

1. Flotation method!
The most important beneficiation method for copper-nickel sulfide ore is flotation. Flotation uses flotation collectors and frothers to obtain nickel concentrate. There are three main specific flotation methods:
1) Mixed flotation process: used to separate ores containing copper less than nickel, and the resulting copper-nickel mixed concentrate is directly smelted into high matte nickel.
2) Mixing-optimized flotation process: mix and flotate copper and nickel from the ore, and then separate low-nickel-containing copper concentrate and copper-containing nickel concentrate from the mixed concentrate. After smelting the nickel concentrate, high matte nickel is obtained, and the high matte nickel is then flotation separated.
3) Mixing - preferential flotation and recovery of part of nickel from the mixed flotation tailings: When the floatability of various nickel minerals in the ore is very different, after mixed flotation of copper and nickel, the nickel is recovered from the tailings. Further recovery of nickel-containing minerals with poor floatability.
2. Magnetic separation method
The magnetic separation method uses equipment such as magnetic separators to conduct mineral separation, usually as an auxiliary means.
3. Reselection method
Gravity separation uses the difference in mineral density to carry out mineral separation, usually through heavy media. It is also a auxiliary mineral processing method.
