Copper rod materials include H59, H59-1, H59-2, H59-3, H60, H60-2, H62, H63, H65, H68, H70, H80, H90; C1100, C1020, C2680, C2800, C2600, C2801, C5191, C5210, C2200, C7521, C7541, C17200, C1070, C7701, QSn6.5-0.1, QSn8-0.3, QSn4-0.3, BZn18-18, BZn15-20, CuBe2, etc.
Before introducing the copper rod forming process and flow, let's talk about the metal forming process.
1. Metal solidification forming is usually called casting. Casting is a process of pouring, injecting or sucking molten metal into a mold cavity, and obtaining a casting with a certain shape and performance after it solidifies.
2. Metal plastic forming is a processing method that uses the plastic deformation ability of metal materials to make the metal materials produce the expected plastic deformation under the action of external force to obtain parts or blanks with certain shapes, sizes and mechanical properties. Its process can often be divided into free forging, die forging, sheet metal stamping, extrusion, pressing, etc. Its performance is often expressed by the forging property of metal in engineering. The quality of forging is often measured by two indicators: the plasticity and deformation resistance of the metal. If the plasticity is high and the deformation resistance is low, the forging property is good; otherwise, the forging property is poor.
3. Metal welding forming process. Welding is a forming method that achieves atomic bonding of metal materials by heating or pressurizing or both, and with or without filling materials. It is usually classified into fusion welding, pressure welding, and brazing.
What are the copper rod forming processes? There are many copper rod forming processes, including extrusion, rolling, continuous casting, stretching, etc.
Copper rod forming process flow? There are three types of copper rod forming process flows, as follows
1. Pressing-(rolling)-stretching-(annealing)-finishing-finished product.
2. Continuous casting (upward, horizontal or wheeled, crawler, impregnation)-(rolling)-stretching-(annealing)-finishing-finished product
3. Continuous extrusion-stretching-(annealing)-finishing-finished product.
Extrusion of copper rod forming process?
1. Types of extrusion: Extrusion is divided into three types: forward extrusion, reverse extrusion and special extrusion.
(1) Forward extrusion: refers to the extrusion behavior in which the extrusion direction of the product is the same as the extrusion force direction.
(2) Reverse extrusion: the extrusion direction is opposite to the extrusion force direction.
(3) Special extrusion: refers to other extrusion methods such as hydrostatic extrusion.
2. Characteristics of extrusion:
(1) Characteristics of forward extrusion: Among them, forward extrusion equipment is relatively simple and is the most widely used.
(2) Characteristics of directional extrusion: Reverse extrusion reduces the friction between the ingot and the extrusion barrel, reduces the extrusion force, and can increase the tool life. It is widely used in small and medium-sized extruded products.
(3) Characteristics of special extrusion: Special extrusion is mostly used for the extrusion of special products (as shown in the figure).
3. Precautions for extrusion:
During the extrusion process, the ingot is subjected to three-dimensional compressive stress in the extrusion barrel and can withstand a large amount of deformation; during extrusion, the mold should be reasonably designed and the extrusion process parameters should be selected according to the characteristics of the alloy, the specifications and technical requirements of the extruded product, and the capacity and structure of the equipment. Including the specifications of the ingot, extrusion ratio, extrusion temperature, extrusion speed, etc. In order to ensure and improve the surface quality of the extruded product, copper alloys are often extruded by peeling extrusion to remove defects on the surface of the ingot.
For precipitation-strengthened alloys, water seal extrusion can be used to achieve solid solution treatment before cold deformation in the extrusion process. Quantong.com experts said that for ordinary alloys, water seal extrusion can reduce surface oxidation of the product and avoid re-pickling of the product.
Horizontal forward extrusion is the most traditional and common extrusion method. Its main problem when extruding a tube is the double center of the tube. Reverse extrusion can not only reduce the degree of eccentricity, but also extrude long ingots and improve the yield rate. Vertical extrusion has the lightest degree of eccentricity, but the length of the extruded product is limited. The continuous extrusion process is short, the roll is heavy, and long products can be produced: it is particularly suitable for the production of special-shaped cross-section products: the product yield rate is high, up to 90-95%: low metal consumption, low energy consumption, small equipment investment, small footprint, convenient for continuous production, and environmentally friendly. With the technological breakthrough of continuous extrusion technology in product width, this method is in the development and application stage in the production of oxygen-free copper and pure copper strips. The main problem of this method is that the mold life is short. How to improve the mold design and increase the life of the mold material needs to be solved.
Rolling of copper rod forming process? There are three types of copper rod rolling: hole rolling, spinning rolling and planetary rolling.
Stretching of copper rod forming process?
1. Definition of stretching: Stretching is a pressure processing method that passes the blank through the die hole and applies tension to change its shape and size. It is also a key process for the production of finished copper rod wires.
2. Characteristics of stretching: Through this process, the shape and size of the product meet the requirements, and it has the characteristics of high dimensional accuracy and good surface finish.
3. Rod wire stretching is diameter reduction stretching: The stretching of pipes is divided into diameter expansion stretching, diameter reduction stretching and diameter reduction and wall reduction stretching. The core head forms of pipe stretching include fixed core head, floating core head and long core rod. See the schematic diagram for several main stretching methods
When the floating core head is stretched, the force balance established by the shape of the core head makes it stable in the deformation zone. This method has a large elongation coefficient per pass, large diameter reduction and wall reduction, and is suitable for the production of long pipes and coils. Fixed core head stretching requires a core rod to keep the core head stably in the deformation zone, which is mainly used for the production of shorter straight pipes.
Commonly used stretching equipment includes chain stretching machine, disc stretching machine, hydraulic stretching machine and combined stretching machine. Chain stretching machine is mainly used for stretching straight strip products, and is divided into single-chain, double-chain and single-line, multi-line stretching machines. Disc stretching machine is mainly used for the production of small and medium diameter discs: combined stretching machine is mainly used for the production of small-sized straight strip products from discs to fixed lengths, and can simultaneously achieve the stretching, straightening, surface polishing, and fixed-length shearing of products, and directly produce finished products.
