What are the production methods of copper strips?

Copper bar is a high-current conductive product, suitable for high- and low-voltage electrical appliances, switch contacts, distribution equipment, bus ducts and other electrical engineering projects. It is also widely used in metal smelting, electrochemical plating, chemical caustic soda and other ultra-high current electrolytic smelting projects. Electrical copper bars have the advantages of low resistivity and large bendability.
Copper busbar, also known as copper busbar, copper busbar or copper busbar, grounding copper bar, is made of copper material. The cross-section is rectangular or chamfered (rounded) rectangular long conductor. The one made of aluminum material is called aluminum It plays the role of transmitting current and connecting electrical equipment in the circuit.
Since copper has better electrical conductivity than aluminum, copper busbars are widely used in electrical equipment, especially in complete sets of power distribution devices; generally in the A, B, C, N phase busbars and PE busbars in distribution cabinets All use copper rows; the copper rows are generally marked with phase-color letters or painted with phase-color paint during use. Phase A copper rows are marked with "yellow" color, phase B with "green" color, and phase C with "red" color. , the N phase is "light blue" and the PE bus is "yellow green".
Copper busbars are mainly used on primary lines (high-current phase wires, neutral wires, and ground wires all use copper busbars). Copper busbars are used to connect primary components with larger currents on electrical cabinets, such as a row of electrical cabinets. The main busbar is connected between the cabinets. The main busbar is divided into the switch electrical (isolating switch, circuit breaker, etc.) of each electrical cabinet is the branch busbar. Copper busbars are either tinned or bare. The connections between the copper busbars in the electrical cabinet can be tinned, embossed or conductive paste added. The vacant areas can be protected with heat shrink tubing, and some are also covered with insulating paint. The most important thing to consider when using copper bars is the carrying capacity. Choose a suitable copper bar according to the current size. The screws at the connections must be tightened, otherwise the copper bar may melt when the current is large.
The process flow is: ingot heating - hot rolling - (milling - blanking - cold rolling - annealing -) pickling - cold rolling - sawing - corner treatment - finishing and straightening Cut to length - packaged - put into storage. The characteristic is that the performance indicators can be better controlled, but there are flash and chip intrusion, the corners are not rounded, the surface is not smooth enough, the width tolerance is large, it cannot meet the high precision requirements, and the production cost is high.
1. Rolling-sawing method
2. Rolling--drawing method
The process flow is: ingot heating - hot rolling - milling - cold rolling - strip cutting - annealing - pickling - stretching - finishing and straightening to length - packaging - warehousing . The characteristic is that various quality indicators can be better controlled and the production cost is low, but the shear flash and tolerance are difficult to control.
3. Profile rolling method
The process flow is: iron mold red ingot--hot (warm) rolling--pickling--rough rolled profiles--annealing--pickling--finished rolled profiles--finishing, straightening and cutting to length--packaging-- Warehousing. The characteristics are that the performance indicators can be better controlled, the rolling mill has many types of rollers, and the production cost is relatively high.
4. Squeeze-stretch method
The process flow is: ingot heating - extrusion - stretching - annealing - pickling - stretching - finishing, straightening and cutting to length - packaging - warehousing.
This process adds annealing and pickling processes to ensure 180° bending performance and control quality indicators. The process is simple, the efficiency is high, and the production capacity is large, but the production cost is also high.
5. Upward (or horizontal) continuous casting - rolling - drawing method
The process flow is: upward (or horizontal) continuous casting - cold rolling - annealing - pickling - stretching - finishing, straightening and cutting to length - packaging - warehousing. It is characterized by simple process and lowest production cost. However, the performance indicators are not as good as other methods, the specifications are limited, the efficiency is low, and the production capacity is small.
