high-temperature heating elements, radiation shielding, extrusions, forging dies, etc.; anodes for rotary fluoroscopy clinical diagnostics; anti-melting glass for electrodes and components of glass melting furnaces; heatsink mounts for silicon semiconductor chips with a coefficient of thermal expansion that matches the thermal expansion coefficient; sputtering layers only Å (10-7 mm) thick, gates and interconnections for integrated circuit chips; and spray coatings on automotive piston rings and machine parts to reduce friction and increase wear.
