Xanadu Mines has made new progress in drilling at the Kharmagtai copper mine project in Mongolia's South Gobi Province.
The drilling target is to verify unexplored porphyry deposits under White Hill.
The first of the four discovery holes, KHDDH648, encountered 1,080 meters of ore at a depth of 491 meters with a copper equivalent grade of 0.21%, extending the deposit 600 meters down the dip.
Another drill hole KHDDH786 deployed in the No. 2 porphyry cluster (Cluster2) encountered 144 meters of ore at a depth of 117 meters, with a copper equivalent grade of 0.34%. This includes a 12-meter-thick ore body with an equivalent grade of 0.63%.
The company believes this may be a new mineralized porphyry vein body adjacent to the Stockwork Hill deposit.
In the No. 5 porphyry cluster (Cluster 5), we saw multiple new mineralization sections with gold-rich tourmaline breccia mineralization, extending for more than 2 kilometers along the strike.
