The three departments issued the clean production evaluation index system for two industries including copper smelting
The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the clean production evaluation index system for two industries including copper smelting, which will be implemented on March 1, 2024.
The "Cleaner Production Evaluation Index System for the Lead and Zinc Industry (Trial)" issued by the National Development and Reform Commission in 2007, the "Cleaner Production Standards for Crude Lead Smelting Industry" (HJ512-2009) and "Cleaner Production Standards for Crude Lead Smelting Industry" issued by the former Ministry of Environmental Protection in 2009 and 2010 Standard Lead Electrolysis Industry" (HJ513-2009) and "Clean Production Standard Copper Smelting Industry" (HJ558-2010) will cease to be implemented at the same time.
