I. Flotation method!
The most important method of beneficiation of copper-nickel sulfide ores is flotation. Flotation is the use of flotation capture agent and frothing agent to obtain nickel concentrate. And there are three main specific flotation methods:
1)Mixed flotation process: it is used to select ores containing less copper than nickel, and the resulting copper-nickel mixed concentrate is directly smelted into high ice nickel.
2) Mixed-optimal flotation process: mixed flotation of copper and nickel from the ore, and then sort out the copper concentrate containing low nickel and nickel concentrate containing copper from the mixed concentrate. The nickel concentrate is smelted to obtain high ice nickel, and the high ice nickel is then separated by flotation.
3) Mixed-preferential flotation and recovery of part of the nickel from the mixed flotation tailings: when the flotation of various nickel minerals in the ore has a great difference in flotation, copper and nickel mixed flotation, and then further recovery of nickel-containing minerals with poor flotation from its tailings.
Second, magnetic separation
Magnetic separation is the use of magnetic separator and other equipment for ore dressing, usually as an auxiliary means.
Third, re-election method
Re-election is the use of mineral density difference to carry out beneficiation, usually through the heavy media to realize. It is also an auxiliary method of beneficiation.
