Copper pipes have a long history of application in construction. They are recognized as excellent pipes that have been fully tested by more than a hundred years of time and practical experience. As water pipes, gas pipes and heating pipes, they are unique. Copper pipes are widely used in economically developed countries in Europe and the United States. In my country, especially in Shanghai, copper pipes were also widely used in buildings before liberation. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, people's living standards were low and their requirements for quality of life were not high. At the same time, due to the needs of national defense construction, copper was rarely used in residential buildings as a strategic material. After the reform and opening up, the regulations restricting the use of copper materials were cancelled, and the "Code for Design of Water Supply and Drainage in Buildings" also clarified the application of copper pipes in the provisions of pipe selection.
With the rapid growth of my country's economy and the rapid improvement of people's living conditions, people have higher requirements for the quality of life, and the concept of "famous mountains hide treasures, famous houses hide copper" has also begun to rise quietly.
