What is a C11000 copper pipe?

C11000 Electrolytic Tough Copper (ETP) is produced directly from carefully selected refined cathodes and castings under strictly controlled conditions to prevent contamination of the pure oxygen-free metal during processing. This OFHC copper production method ensures ultra-high purity, with a copper content of up to 99.99%. Due to the extremely low impurity content, the inherent properties of elemental copper are fully expressed.
This is the most commonly used copper, suitable for a wide range of electrical applications. The minimum conductivity rating for ETP is 100% IACS, with a purity requirement of 99.9%. Its oxygen content is typically 0.02% to 0.04%. Most ETP currently on the market meets or exceeds the 101% IACS specification. Similar to OF copper, for purity purposes, the silver (Ag) content is included in the copper (Cu) content.
