DLP = phosphorus-deoxidized, low residual phosphorus. Deoxidation removes oxygen, preventing hydrogen embrittlement during brazing; the low phosphorus keeps conductivity high while improving weldability.
2. C12000 vs C12200
C12000 (DLP): lower phosphorus, higher conductivity - industrial fabrication, heat exchangers, HVAC;
C12200 (DHP): higher phosphorus (0.015-0.040%), best corrosion resistance in potable water - plumbing per ASTM B88;
Both are oxygen-free and weldable; choose by conductivity vs corrosion requirement.
3. Pancake Coil Form
Soft-annealed (O61) tube coiled flat - compact, low-cost transport;
Straightened and cut on site; ideal for long-run heat-exchanger fabrication;
Clean bore (degreased, capped ends) for refrigerant/water service;
Typical: OD 6.35-25.4 mm (1/4"-1"), wall 0.6-1.5 mm, coil length 10-100 m, coil OD 400-1200 mm.
4. Applications
Shell-and-tube and finned heat exchangers, condensers and evaporators, solar water heaters, oil coolers, refrigeration and HVAC circuits, and general heat-transfer coils where weldable high-conductivity copper is required.
5. Ordering
Specify: standard (B68/B75/B280 or EN 12735), grade C12000, OD × wall, coil length and coil OD, temper (O), cleanliness class, and EN 10204 3.1 certificate with phosphorus and conductivity analysis.
