The resource volume of Eagle Mountain Mining's Oracle Ridge copper mine project in Arizona, USA, exceeded original expectations.
Since acquiring this old mining project in 2020, the mining company has increased the project's resources by 60%.
According to the cut-off grade of 0.8%, the mine's resources are 28.2 million tons, with a copper grade of 1.35%, a silver grade of 11.06 g/ton, and a gold grade of 0.16 g/ton. That is, the amount of copper metal is 380,000 tons. If the cut-off grade is lowered, it can rise to 600,000 tons.
Since October 2022, the resources of Oracle Ridge copper mine have increased by 1/3. The recent growth is mainly due to expanded drilling and continuous high-grade mineralization through sampling of nearly 1 km of underground tunnels.
The mine is 3.5 kilometers long along the strike, and no modern exploration has been done in the old mining area. Therefore, the company believes that there is room for further growth in resources.
