C11000 and C10200 are two types of high-purity copper commonly used in various industries, but they differ primarily in their composition and performance. C11000, also known as electrolytic tough pitch copper, contains a small amount of oxygen (approximately 0.04%) and has a purity of 99.90%. This makes it highly conductive, though the oxygen content can slightly affect its performance in certain conditions. On the other hand, C10200 is oxygen-free, with nearly zero oxygen content, making it slightly purer than C11000. This absence of oxygen results in even better conductivity and corrosion resistance, making C10200 suitable for more demanding applications.

C11000 offers excellent electrical conductivity (around 100% IACS), good thermal conductivity, and is easy to process through methods such as rolling, drawing, and extrusion. C10200, due to its oxygen-free nature, has slightly better conductivity (up to 101% IACS) and superior resistance to corrosion and oxidation. These qualities make it ideal for high-precision applications such as semiconductors, medical devices, scientific instruments, and aerospace equipment. C10200 performs exceptionally well in environments where even trace amounts of oxygen could lead to material degradation. The downside of C10200 is its higher cost, which may not be justified for general electrical applications where C11000 would perform adequately.

For general applications requiring good conductivity and processing ease, C11000 is a cost-effective and reliable option.
