Recently, a delegation from one of our long-standing partners in India visited our company. This visit served not only as a review of our existing collaboration but, more importantly, culminated in the on-site signing of an annual procurement order for C12200 copper tubes to support their upcoming season's air conditioning, refrigeration, and heat exchanger projects.
As C12200 (Phosphorus-Deoxidized Copper) is a standard material within the refrigeration industry, the client's primary concerns centered on the tubes' weldability and the uniformity of their wall thickness.
During the tour of our production facility, the clients paid particular attention to our tube drawing processes and in-line non-destructive testing procedures. Addressing the Indian clients' specific requirement for high internal surface cleanliness, we demonstrated our closed-loop system for internal surface cleaning and drying. On-site sampling tests revealed that both the tensile strength and elongation of the tubes exceeded the standards stipulated in ASTM B280; this tangible, data-driven demonstration of performance laid a solid foundation for the subsequent signing of the agreement.




During the technical exchange session, both parties engaged in a discussion regarding the potential corrosive effects of India's local high-temperature and high-humidity environment on the copper tubes.
Our technical engineers provided a detailed explanation of how C12200-while maintaining its excellent weldability-achieves enhanced corrosion resistance through the precise control of trace elements. Furthermore, the two parties reached a consensus on various logistical details for future shipments, including moisture-proof packaging and pallet reinforcement measures. The client remarked: "Given the current market landscape, we prioritize not merely the price point, but-even more so-a supplier's capability to deliver on customized specifications and consistent quality."
