On February 2nd, an industrial group procurement delegation from Ethiopia visited GNEE, marking the third visit from clients in East Africa this year. After a full day of factory inspections and technical exchanges, both parties successfully signed the first procurement contract for T2 purple copper bars that evening.
During the workshop visit, the delegation focused on the surface finish and conductivity stability of the purple copper bars. Client representatives repeatedly compared samples by hand and inquired in detail about the impact of annealing processes on material performance. "We need to ensure that these materials maintain stable electrical conductivity even in the high-altitude environment of Addis Ababa," stated the project lead from the Ethiopian National Electric Power Company.
In the subsequent technical exchange session, GNEE engineers showcased production processes specifically optimized for African climate conditions, including anti-oxidation treatment technologies and packaging solutions. When clients saw the specially designed moisture-proof and impact-resistant packaging samples, they nodded frequently in approval.
"The reliability requirements for materials in our ongoing substation project are extremely high," expressed the client's procurement director during the signing ceremony.
