C102 copper contains a small amount of phosphorus (usually around 0.02% to 0.06%) and is deoxidized, which means it is treated to remove oxygen impurities.

The addition of phosphorus makes C102 copper more resistant to corrosion and oxidation compared to pure copper.

C102 is often used in applications where a balance of electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance is required, such as plumbing components, heat exchangers, and some electrical connectors.
