Copper C12200 Tubes are Phosphorus-Deoxidized copper tubes that are extensively used in sugar refineries for condensers and evaporators. Deoxidized copper tubes are the standard material for transferring heat from steam to water or air because of their excellent resistance to corrosion by fresh water and their high thermal conductivities. Copper C12200 Tubes is not susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement but has relatively low electrical conductivity due to the amount of phosphorous content.
Copper C12200 Tubes exhibit good to excellent corrosion resistance, excellent hot and cold workability; good forgeability. Fabricated by coining, coppersmithing, drawing and upsetting, hot forging and pressing, spinning, swaging, stamping. Copper C12200 Tubes have excellent hot and cold working properties. Forging of Copper UNS C12200 Tubes is performed at a hot working temperature ranging from 760 to 871 degrees C (1400 to 1600 degrees F). It has excellent deep drawing characteristics and resistance to pitting corrosion when exposed to severe weather and water environments.
